a trinket treasury presents: the shrine project

the first shrine in a series of mixed media vessels.
this is going to be a collection of various little shrines, representing different cultures and beliefs. mini structures holding sacred intentions. the first is from the buddhist tradition and houses the sacred mantra om mani padme hum.

shrines 2 and 3 are almost done...

this is a fun project of introspection as well, and a quiet meditation in creating with supplies i already have on hand. let's see where this takes me...
