this picture and my post have nothing to do with one another... one of those days i guess.

rearranging and simplifying things here on my blog. the biggest change so far is the categories section. i was getting annoyed with all the different ones i had going on, creating new ones when i didn't know where to stick something. so i've trimmed down. breaking my blog down into several categories.

we'll see if this works out...

more of the teeny tiny itty bitty project...

i couldn't possibly have teeny tiny itty bitty envelops without eensy weensy postage and cancellation stamp now could i?

 

these small envelops are going to be accompanied by peewee sized letters destined for some mail art friends of mine. i'm completely hooked on teeny tiny itty bitty. i see lots and lots more of these in my future. and perhaps a teensy mail box to match! it's currently under construction...

check out this post and this one oh and this one too, all by maya*made, which were the inspiration for this project. pushing my boundaries of small.

from the letter love files

so much to say... but where to start?

pictures are of my address book: filled with addresses of friends, inspirations, blog chums and pen pals. which leads me to the subject of letters, letter writing and mail art...

i can't call them new obsessions, actually quite the opposite. i have always been in love with anything/everything having to do with these things. but i'm taking them a step further. indulging myself even more, if that's even possible, HA! hee hee!

in the works are:

-another blog dedicated to letter writing, pen pals, mail art
and zine creations called the letter love files

-a zine about my love of letters and mail art (more to come soon)

-a mail art exchange program soon-ish (ooooohhh gonna be fun!)

and

-super awesome mail art kits
which will be eventually for sale at some point...

so this is why i've been delinquent at responding to emails and all around generally forgetting my social interactive nature. my mind is full full full of ideas and not enough time to get it all done. so pleasy please, if i owe you an email be patient with me!!!

i used to make tons (TONS) of collaged postcards, but then out of nowhere i just stopped... but since seeing mary ann's very very cool postcards here and here, a fire has been rekindled in my heart for postcards. i've got postcard fever!!! the postcard you see here isn't quite finished yet... bit more glitter (well lots more knowing me) some doodling and words... but i thought it would be better than having nothing to show...

other than postcard love, i don't have many words... it was a hectic week that seeped into a hectic weekend. but i thought it was really interesting that there were so many posts at the end of the week relating to motherhood. being a relatively new mother, i love reading other mother/artist/blogger's views and experience with motherhood. here are some super good posts:
