i just love spring! morning songs from all kinds of winged friends are filling the air and green is slowly emerging from beneath. i'm so inspired!

the littlest things

 

i've always enjoyed things in bottles. there's definitely a certain charm to a collection gathered in one vessel. now how about teenie tiny things in itty bitty bottles...

after a week of everyone here at trinket manor being down with a case of the sickies, i am waving goodbye to february and saying a great big hello to march! with a great big smile on my face.

oh! i didn't realize until this post that i am now past my 100th post! this is technically my 102th post... something to celebrate, as a couple months ago i wasn't even sure if i was ever returning. but i am so glade to be back. was is it with the need to share our magic with words and pictures?

i'm gonna be thinking up something fun for this... a giveaway perhaps?

sprinkles of magic along a winding path

an enchanted path encountered today...

so the mister, little miss and i have been on some very magical adventures this long weekend. and discovered this awesome little path made of stone that winds and twists for what seems like forever. we were greatly rewarded at the top with some beautiful views and a little ruin of stone walls which the little one deemed a castle. so cute!

i'll be back later this week with the post that i had originally planned for this evening, but i still need to crop and play around with some of the pictures i took... summer art adventure tales are coming!

sacred life sunday

isn't that such a delicious golden color??? too bad i can't say the same for the taste... but this was the scene in my kitchen this weekend, pots and pots of steeping healthy healing teas. i'm still on the mends from that nasty nasty cold... sleeping as much as i possibly can while the mister is at home taking care of our little miss. i'm feeling better and hopefully will be back to my "normal" self soon... ha!



if you're wondering why i'm steeping teas in mason jars, it's one of the best ways to capture all the properties of the healing plants. having studied herbalism for many years, i have learned that if i was to steep a medicinal herb blend in a teapot, i would be loosing alot of the goodness in the escaping steam.

a quick hello and now i'm off to bed mega early... with a good book in hand and *yuck* some wonderfuly heathy healing tea...
