rearranging and simplifying things here on my blog. the biggest change so far is the categories section. i was getting annoyed with all the different ones i had going on, creating new ones when i didn't know where to stick something. so i've trimmed down. breaking my blog down into several categories.

UPDATE: oh my oh my where has the week gone to??? eeekks!!! i hope you all had a fabulous easter weekend filled with lots adventures! i was out of town to visit the mister's family and then when we got back i was extremely busy with celebrating my birthday! yep you heard right, it was my birthday this week! i'm known for drawing out the festivities all week if not all month! ha!

There are many reasons for why a gathering of people in a circle is powerful. A circle is a shape that is found repeatedly throughout the natural world, and it is a symbol of perfection. We recreate this perfect shape when we join others to form a circle. Being in a circle allows us experience each other as equals. Each person is the same distance apart from the next participant, and no one is seated higher than or stands apart from others in a circle. From tribal circles to the mythical round table of King Arthur, the circle has been the shape adopted by gatherings throughout history.

The circle is acknowledged as an archetype of wholeness and integration, with the center of a circle universally understood to symbolize Spirit - the Source. When a group of people come together in a circle, they are united. This unity becomes even more powerful when each person reaches out to touch a neighbor and clasps hands. This physical connection unites thought and action, mind and body, and spirit and form in a circle. Because a circle has no beginning and no end, the agreement to connect in a circle allows energy to circulate from one person to the next, rather than being dissipated into the environment.

Like a candle used to light another candle, the connection with spirit that results when one person joins hands with another is greater than if each person were to stand alone. People who take part in a circle find that their power increases exponentially while with the group. Like a drop of water rippling on the surface of a pond, the waves of energy produced in a circle radiate outward in circular motion. While one person may act like a single beacon that emanates light, a circle of people is like a satellite dish that sends out energy. There is power in numbers, and when the commitment is made by many to face one another, clasp hands, and focus on one intention, their circle emanates ripples of energy that can change the world.

here are the full details...

what: a fabulously magical women's circle, looking at our goddess selves and investigating HER in our everyday life. this circle will be more of an exploration of the goddess archetypes in ourselves with different topics each week accompanied by exercises, journal prompts, meditations, discussion questions, super fun projects and much much more... ALSO this circle will bring together like minded goddesses so we can all share and learn from each others experiences and point of views. it is my hope that with this circle, a fabulous community of beautiful goddesses can be formed that will last beyond this circle!!!

the format of this goddess circle will be on a private, password protected blog, that will only be available to goddess circle participants. every week i will be posting a BIG juicy information packed post with

(1) main topic of the week
(2) discussion questions & exercises
(3) affirmation
(4) meditation
(5) project(s)
(6) light & shadow exploration

there will also be follow up posts during the week and special posts for full and new moons during the course of the circle. participants will be able to discuss and receive support in the comment section of the blog, as well as email me directly for additional help and support at any time. everything presented during this journey is completely optional...

NO previous experience is required... all information will be provided for exercises and the projects will required simple household and craft items.

the 12 secrets of highly creative women: secret #2

*~*honoring your inspirations*~*

in this second secret of highly creative women, we are asked to look at where and how we find our inspiration. what we do to get inspired, our sacred space for creating and as well our rituals surrounding our creative-ness...

for me, my inspiration really come from anywhere and everywhere... i've mentioned this before, but i have a few ideas books floating around at one time and use them daily. i have an idea book in my bag that i carry around with me everywhere, an idea book next to my bed and an idea book (the master idea book) in my studio. ideas come at me from every angle... colors, textures, music and sound are all inspirational. sometimes i might be thinking of one thing and all of a sudden an idea for something completely different will pop up... write it down... sleeping bam bam ideas... write them down... waiting in line daydreaming bam bam ideas... write them all down... and even re-reading my written ideas bam bam ideas! yes yes write them down! but you see, i'm a daydreamer... i'm half the time in this world and half in some other otherworldly magical place that feeds me ideas...

but as for rituals... i don't really have many... my one BIG important thing is to meditate. BIG for getting ideas and dealing with ideas and how to proceed. also sitting in my studio. some days i might not actually create anything but i'll just be sitting there... for hours! i stare out the window... look around the room... play some fabulous music... ideas always come.

so for this week, i thought i would share with you my studio!!! well pictures at least... i'm WARNING you though... it's a total mess. my studio is rarely tidy and NEVER clutter free. it's funny because the rest of my home is very minimalist zen like. but not my studio... ooooohhhh no ma'm! it seems the messier and more cluttered the better for ideas...

i find this quote to be so very true... when i am open and receptive, the ideas can't help but pour in. i also love to research and read... visit museums and take walks in nature... i find this as another form of being open. open to inspiration everywhere.

where have i been you ask???
what have i been up to you wonder???

well... this week was one of those quiet still winter weeks where not much happened. i was hibernating... inside my home, inside my head. there were crazy snow storms outside and my heart shared whispers of taking it nice and slow. i listened. inside my head though was a completely different story... a blizzard of ideas and hints of how to proceed to see them real. in my experience, i find that it's in these still quiet moments that alot of the "work" gets done. inside then out. now comes the spilling out part...

i have much catching up to do, this is going to be an epic post i think... grab a cup of tea and be sure to sit down!!!

~full moon dreamboard~

jamie over at starshyne productions has taken over sacred suzie's monthly full moon sharing of everyone's dreamboards. if you're new to this, here are the full details. thank YOU jamie!!!



dreamboard intention for this full moon: to call and bring together a circle of like minded goddess souls, to unit a tribe of fabulous magical women, to share and grow together in this world, at this time!!!

this month, instead of making my usual dreamboard or vision card on postcard size watercolor paper, i decided to create it on the cover of my journal. you see i've been busy... busy busy busy putting information together for my upcoming launch of my goddess circle (more information on this in tomorrow's post). but i've mentioned this briefly before here. i've been reading, researching and writing alot of things i would love to discuss, meditations to share and exercises to offer, it's all in this journal. so what better than to create my dreamboard ON the journal. my intentions and wishes visible to me every time i reach for it. i LOVE it!!!

funny thing is... after creating this dreamboard and my intentions of bringing together a tribe of fabulous magical women, everything was pointing to this. you'll see what i mean as this post moves along...

as i was choosing my images, i found a couple images of the hands of a woman playing a drum... this struck me as SO powerful. like a calling to all women to join me... here is the larger of the two images on the back of the journal:



it spoke to me so clearly!!! as if to say, call them and they will come!!! i know it's totally cliche, but completely how i felt. jamie mentioned how january's full moon is called the wolf moon. i was reading more about this and again i was struck. the wolf moon is called such because in the cold of winter, the wolves come out from the woodlands into the villages for a more viable source of food. but also because during this cold and dark time of year the wolves rely especially strong on their pack nature to survive. to keep strong in numbers and keep each other warm. as a pack... a grouping to keep strong... are you following??? wow!!! it is said that magical working on this full wolf moon is especially useful for creating and strengthening bonds between family and friends and for new ventures that require courage... yes yes yes and yes please!!! hee hee!!! wonderful!!! this is all telling me that it is the right time to move forward with my ideas.

jamie has also brought over to her blog wishcasting... where people share their wishes and support each other in their efforts and intentions. i truly think this is awesome, as our intentions are so very powerful!!!

i wish for myself this tribe... this circle of fabulous magical women.
that we find each other and learn and grow together.

shop update + runny noses

YAY!!! i've updated my shop with a few fabulous creations, check them out!

i had planned for so much more, but here at the trinkety household we're all down with a little cold. it all started with the little miss... then next thing you know runny noses and sore throats for all. so i've been resting and taking it easy. my wonderful surprise items will make their appearance in my shop shortly... but you can have a small sneaky peaky on monday evening for mantra mondays, as i'll be having a GIVEAWAY!!!
